Description: The project consists of 2 buildings located adjacent to each other and connected by hyphen on 2000 Mass. Ave. 2 restaurants are proposed on the basement level with office space on the first and second floor of the historical building on the east side building. The west side building, will contain office space on the basement level and 1st floor. Floors 2 thru 5 will contain residential units with a pool on the roof. Scope: Noise criteria for living spaces as well as noise control for mechanical equipment and ductwork. Vibration isolation for equipment with design mitigation if needed. Sound transmission for interior walls and floors. Impact Isolation for noise transmission between spaces on different floors. Noise reduction between common areas such as Trash drop room, Exercise room, Elevator, Lobby, etc. Noise evaluation at property line from roof mounted mechanical equipment.

Notes: In some instances, noise generating common spaces such as Exersice room are planned below residential units which will require special attention to acoustical design.
