Description: Polysonics aided in the design of the 82,000 square foot Vaccine Research Center, located on the main campus of the National Institutes of Health. The building was designed to meet NIH criteria for laboratory noise levels and floor vibration. Finite element analysis of building structure was carried out to determine floor response to walking, roadway traffic, and mechanical equipment. We provided mechanical equipment noise control for video teleconference and conference center acoustics, laboratory spaces and offices
